[19.12] Snow Christmas Plate 24cm
Made a special handmade and hand-painted ceramic plate for Christmas in 2019.
First time that I tried sketching my own design digitally!
I worked it out better afterwards in traditional pencil and ceramic black cobalt paint.
After firing and glazing the black paint turns the famous Delft Blue.
In February 2020 I gave the design a color overhaul and tried coloring it digitally!
I love this piece so much, even my cool colleagues at the pottery workshop were touched when they saw the design when I brought the piece to them for glazing and firing. We're all secretly a bunch of softies, haha <3

It's hard to take a good photo since the shiny glaze makes it hard to capture the real look, but it came out really good!
